Advanced controls for ALSA soundcard driver.

ARGUMENTS

-d, --debug				# use debug mode
-f, --file				# select the configuration file to use
-g, --ignore			# use with store and restore commands
-h, --help				# show flags and commands
-i, --initfile			# the config file for init (default: /share/init/00main)
-r, --runstate			# save restore and init state to this file. this file only contains errors.

-E, --env				# set environment variable
-F, --force				# try to restore matching control elements as much as possible.  Use with restore as default.
-I, --no-init-fallback	# do not initialize cards if restore fails.
-P, --pedantic			# do not restore mismatching control elements. This was old default behavior with restore.
-R, --remove			# remove runstate file at first.

Files

/etc/asound.state (or whatever file you specify with the -f flag) Configuration file is generated automatically by running alsactl store
